Service Description

Build on your Latin dance foundation as you expand your vocabulary, refine your technique, and become a more confident social dancer. Designed for dancers with prior experience in Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue, this class continues beyond the fundamentals with new patterns, improved musicality, stronger leading and following skills, and a deeper understanding of partner connection. Through progressive instruction and social dance combinations, you'll develop the technique and communication skills needed to dance more comfortably with a variety of partners. Whether your goal is to feel more confident at social dances or continue growing as a Latin dancer, this class provides the tools to move with greater ease, musicality, and connection. This class is taught by our regular guest instructor, Jennifer Volpe. PREREQUISITES: Dancers should have approximately one year of Social Latin dance experience or demonstrate a solid understanding of the foundational steps and partnerwork of Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue. Singles and couples are both welcome. ATTIRE: Wear comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Dancewear and athletic attire are both welcome. FOOTWEAR: Please wear clean shoes that allow you to pivot comfortably. We recommend shoes with a smooth sole and minimal tread, and suggest avoiding athletic sneakers with thick rubber soles whenever possible. Heels are not required. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from Sept 27 - Dec 4. The price shown is for the entire session.
