Discover the artistry of dancing with a chair in this burlesque-inspired class that blends confidence, musicality, and movement. Designed for dancers of all experience levels, Chairlesque explores choreography that incorporates one of dance's most versatile performance props: the chair. You'll develop fluid movement, intentional transitions, stage presence, and creative musicality while learning how to move with control, precision, and style. Whether you're new to burlesque-inspired movement or looking to expand your performance skills, this class offers a fun, supportive space to challenge yourself, explore a new style, and leave feeling a little more confident than when you walked in. ATTIRE: Wear whatever helps you feel confident, powerful, and connected to the movement. While your favorite joggers and tee are always welcome, Chairlesque is also a chance to wear the outfit you've been looking for an excuse to put on. Whether that's a bodysuit, matching set, oversized button-down, or something uniquely you, choose clothing that lets you move freely and step into the energy of the class. There's no dress code here—just come ready to dance. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from Sept 27 - Dec 4. The price shown is for the entire session. OPTIONAL PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY: This fall, dancers enrolled in select classes will have the opportunity to perform in TDF Stage Sessions on December 4. Designed as a low-pressure performance experience, Stage Sessions gives dancers the chance to perform their class choreography on a real stage for an audience of fellow TDF dancers. There are no auditions, no additional rehearsals, and no tickets to sell. Your instructor will prepare your class piece during your regular class time. Participation is completely optional, making this a great opportunity for dancers who want to experience the excitement of performing while building confidence in a supportive community.
