Fall 2026 - Performance & Storytelling
Ages 18+ | All Levels
Service Description
Great performances are about more than executing choreography—they're about giving the audience something to connect with. In this all-levels class, you'll explore the tools that transform movement into meaningful performance. Through targeted exercises, improvisation, and choreography, you'll develop skills like emotional intention, stage presence, movement quality, musical interpretation, and nonverbal communication. You'll also learn how to make artistic choices that support the story or message behind a piece, creating performances that feel authentic, engaging, and memorable. Whether you're preparing for the stage, looking to strengthen your performance quality, or simply want your dancing to feel more intentional, this class will help you move beyond the mechanics of the choreography and into the artistry of performance. Participants will also have the opportunity to share their work in an optional end-of-session performance. ATTIRE: Wear whatever helps you move comfortably and confidently. Athletic wear, dancewear, leggings, joggers, shorts, and fitted or relaxed tops are all welcome. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from Sept 27 - Dec 4. See our FAQ's below for info regarding Cancellations, Payment Plan Options, and Trial Classes.
