Perf 2026 - Beg/Adv Beg Heels
Ages 17+ | This is an advanced beginner level performance class (details in description)
Service Description
This Beginner/Advanced Beginner Heels class is a great class to continue your heels journey after some time in the intro level, or to start your heels journey if you have previous dance experience. Students in this class will work on choreography for our show, Full Out Fest, on June 7. LEVEL: This class is Beginner/Advanced Beginner level class. One year of experience is required. Dancers without the required experience are encouraged to consider our Intro to Heels class. ATTIRE: Shoes worn in from off the street will not be permitted. Must bring a clean change of heels dedicated to class and switch into them after entering the studio. Stiletto style are preferred, as thicker/chunky heels can make some moves more challenging. No studs, rhinestones, or spikes on shoes and heel tips must be intact. Avoid deep tread, as it'll get you stuck on the floor. Open toe shoes help with balance and support, as well as "bootie" style (lace-up is best, but zip-up works fine). The moves are designed for heels, so look for a heel between 2.5" and 4" depending on your comfort and needs. Athletic attire that you feel great wearing is recommended! See our recommendations page for links. Kneepads strongly recommended. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 15-week session runs from Feb 1-Jun 7, with one class per week at the time noted. Day(s) off: DAY of Feb 9, WEEK of April 5, DAY of May 25 PERFORMANCE INFO: This session is a performance class. By registering you are committing to the mandatory June 7 showcase & June 5 evening rehearsal. Attendance the final week of the session is mandatory. Our showcase, "Full Out Fest", is a ticketed event (dancers do not need a ticket to perform). Attire for the event requires a 2026 Full Out Fest commemorative t-shirt for $30 & black on bottom (to be discussed in classes). No performance fees, expensive costume purchase, or minimum ticket orders are required. We do offer limited free seating as well as ADA seating. Performing students get to watch the event during acts they are not in. ABSENTEE POLICY: We permit 2 absences, after which we require private lessons at our private lesson rate. See our FAQ's below for info regarding Cancellations, Payment Plan Options, and Trial Classes.
