Perf 2026 - Int/Adv Tap

Service Description

Join us for this class rooted in a blend of classical and rhythm tap styles, where musicality reigns! We'll work on mastering more advanced techniques, intricate timing, and tap dynamics. Students in this class will work on choreography for our show, Full Out Fest, on June 7. LEVEL: This is an an intermediate/advanced level class. 2-3 years of experience recommended. Dancers without the required experience are encouraged to consider our Beginner Tap class. ATTIRE: Split sole or full sole black tap shoes are required. If your tap shoes are not snug, they will not be suitable for this class. Ensure your tap shoes fit correctly for the best experience. Heel/character tap shoes are not recommended for this class. Jeans are not recommended. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 16-week session runs from Feb 8-Jun 7, with one class per week at the time noted. Day(s) off: WEEK of April 5 PERFORMANCE INFO: This session is a performance class. By registering you are committing to the mandatory June 7 showcase & June 5 evening rehearsal. Attendance the final week of the session is mandatory. Our showcase, "Full Out Fest", is a ticketed event (dancers do not need a ticket to perform). Attire for the event requires a 2026 Full Out Fest commemorative t-shirt for $30 & black on bottom (to be discussed in classes). No performance fees, expensive costume purchase, or minimum ticket orders are required. We do offer limited free seating as well as ADA seating. Performing students get to watch the event during acts they are not in. ABSENTEE POLICY: We permit 2 absences, after which we require private lessons at our private lesson rate.
