Service Description

This energy-filled class, blending jazz and street dance styles, is marked by strong musicality, sitting in "the pocket", and use of textures. Students in this class will learn choreography that moves WITH the music, not on TOP of it... finding grooves, accents, and pauses in just the right moments. LEVEL: This is an intermediate/advanced level class. 2-3 years of experience in level hip hop or open style is recommended. ATTIRE: A clean pair of sneakers, dedicated to in-studio use and not worn outside, is required. Shoes worn in from off the street will NOT BE PERMITTED. Athletic wear is recommended. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from March 1-May 16, with one class per week at the time noted.
