Spring 2026 - Social Latin Styling

Take your social Latin dancing to the next level! In this session, you’ll refine your technique with a focus on hip action, arm styling, and smooth transitions - building on your existing Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue foundations. Come solo or bring a partner—everyone’s invited! Note: This is a partner dance class, so you can sign up with a friend or come solo pair up with other participants. Price shown is per person for the entire session. LEVEL: This is not a beginner class - 1 session or 1 year of previous experience in the styles listed is required ATTIRE: Danceable clothing and a clean pair of sneakers, dedicated to in-studio use and not worn outside. Shoes worn in from off the street will NOT BE PERMITTED. Socks are also ok. Dance heels are not required. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from Mar 1 - May 16, with no class the week of April 5. The price shown is for the entire session. INSTRUCTOR: Jennifer Volpe has been dancing for over 40 years, with the last 30 spent in professional Ballroom and Latin dance. Her love of music led her to dance as a form of expression—movement became her voice. She is the owner of Jennifer Volpe Dance Company and a certified Ballroom and Latin instructor with experience training both social and competitive dancers. Her students range from first-time wedding dancers to competitors qualifying for Ballroom Dancesport Nationals, many earning top placements and teacher awards. As a choreographer, Jennifer has worked with local schools, colleges, and professional theaters, including the New York State Theater Institute and RPI. With a background in Biology and Psychology, Jennifer uses dance to help students better understand their bodies and emotions, build confidence, and step outside their comfort zones. She is committed to creating a supportive, welcoming environment where dancers can explore, grow, and connect through movement and music.
