
Summer 2026 - Conditioning for Dance

Service Description
Conditioning for Dance is a 4-week class designed to build the strength, stability, and mobility dancers need to move freely and safely across any style. You’ll focus on functional strength for the feet, ankles, hips, legs, and arms, using exercises that emphasize eccentric control, balance, and coordination. Core and abdominal engagement is integrated throughout, and plyometric exercises help develop explosive power and endurance. This class is ideal for contemporary, jazz, tap, and heels dancers who want to layer technique on a foundation of strength, ensuring your movement is supported, expressive, and limitless. LEVEL: This is an All Levels class, with some previous exercise experience highly recommended (yoga, pilates, HIIT, weights, etc). Dancers in ALL styles are encouraged to sign up! ATTIRE: Athletic clothing and socks (for exercises requiring sliding the leg/foot). All equipment will be provided. Bring kneepads if you have them, otherwise bring a towel or extra shirt to place under the knee for some exercises if you'd like. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 6-week session runs from July 12 through August 21. The price shown is for the entire session.
