Service Description

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate heels is a 4-week class designed for dancers who have completed a beginner level heels class or have prior recent ballet experience and are ready to build more consistency and control in heels. Classes include a structured warm-up, conditioning, skill drills, and combos focused on turns, level changes, dynamic movement, textures, and heels floorwork. Emphasis is placed on clarity of movement and developing strength, control and coordination in a supportive environment that encourages steady growth and confidence in your heels practice. LEVEL: This is an advanced beginner/intermediate level class. At least 1 session of advanced beginner or intermediate heels or 1 session of ballet experience is required. ATTIRE: Clean high heels not worn in from outside. They must be dedicated to in-studio use only, with the soles cleaned and no exposed metal except for functional back zippers. Attire you feel great wearing, noting that high heels can get caught in loose pants/long, oversized t shirts during floorwork moves. Kneepads recommended (see our products recommendation page for a link). CLASS SCHEDULE: This 4-week session begins the week of January 4 and runs through January 30.
