Service Description

Advanced Beginner/Intermediate Tap is a blended-level class designed for dancers with previous recent tap experience who are ready to build greater speed, clarity, and musical responsiveness. You’ll work on developing strong rudiments, improving coordination, and refining timing and volume dynamics. Class material will be adapted to meet dancers where they are, offering appropriate challenges for both advanced beginners and intermediate movers. With an ongoing focus on musicality, finding the "pocket", articulation, and control, this class supports steady technical growth while deepening your connection to rhythm and sound. LEVEL: This is an blended advanced beginner/intermediatelevel class - 1 years of experience recommended. ATTIRE: Split sole or full sole black tap shoes are required. No Mary Jane or Character style shoes. If your tap shoes are not snug, they will not be suitable for this class. Ensure your tap shoes fit correctly for the best experience. Wear athletic clothing, ensuring that pants aren't longer than your legs or can be tucked into your socks. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 4-week session begins the week of January 4 and runs through January 30, with one class per week at the time noted.
