Service Description

In this class dancers will work on jazz, ballet, and modern technique while exploring artistic freedom and expression to accomplish foundational contemporary movements. LEVEL: This is beginner/advanced beginner level class. One year of ballet, jazz, or contemporary experience is recommended. Dancers without the required experience are encouraged to consider our Intro to Contemporary class. ATTIRE: Please wear athletic attire that will allow for the instructor to check the alignment of your ankles, knees, hips, and ribs. Make sure loose hair is securely pulled back from your face. Socks or bare feet ok. SCHEDULE & DAYS OFF: This 12 week session begins the week of September 21 and runs through December 13. There is 1 class per week at the day/time noted. We ask that if you want to take a trial class before committing that you reach out using the chat (bottom of website) or directly to info@troydancefactory.com the WEEKEND before class begins to see if we have room. If we do, we will send you a non-refundable invoice for the trial class in the amount of $25. This will be applied to your tuition for that session of the class if you decide to join us.
