Service Description

The word lyrical means "having a poetic, expressive quality." This dance style is expressive, subtle, dynamic, and combines Ballet and Jazz dance technique. You will be challenged to express emotions through movement and tell the story being told in the song's lyrics. Class will focus on flexibility, strengthening and technique combinations (in center and across the floor) as well as choreography. LEVEL: This is an intermediate level class. A min of 2 year of jazz or ballet experience is recommended. ATTIRE: Socks, bare feet, or foot thongs recommended. Athletic attire recommended. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 11-week session begins the week of September 21 and runs through December 13, with one class per week at the time noted. We ask that if you want to take a trial class before committing that you reach out using the chat (bottom of website) or directly to info@troydancefactory.com the WEEKEND before class begins to see if we have room. If we do, we will send you a non-refundable invoice for the trial class in the amount of $25. This will be applied to your tuition for that session of the class if you decide to join us.
