Fall 2025 - Intro to Hip Hop

Do you love hip hop but don’t have any hip hop dance experience? Then our Intro to Hip Hop class is perfect for you! In this class, you will master the foundational moves and hip hop grooves (both old and new) that this mark this expressive style of dance. This class will also help you find your rhythm and build the confidence you need as you learn to dance in a totally judgement-free and welcoming environment. LEVEL: This is an intro level class. No experience needed. ATTIRE: Dance clothes and clean, dedicated to studio use only, sneakers. Shoes worn in from off the street will NOT BE PERMITTED. MUST BRING a clean change of hip-hop sneakers and switch into them after entering the studio. See our recommendations pages for links. CLASS SCHEDULE: This 11-week session begins the week of September 21 and runs through December 13, with one class per week at the time noted. There is no class on Thursday, November 27, which is reflected in the price. The price shown is for the entire session.
