Are you ready to groove, move, and express yourself through the infectious beats of hip hop music? Join our "Intro to Hip Hop Dance" class designed for adults ages 18 and above. This 10-week session is perfect for anyone with no prior dance experience, as we embark on a dynamic journey into the world of hip hop dance. From mastering the fundamental steps to understanding body mechanics, you'll gain confidence and fluency in executing basic skills that form the foundation of this vibrant dance form. This class will enhance your understanding of musicality in hip hop, teaching you how to synchronize your steps with different beats and rhythms. LEVEL: This is an intro level class. No experience needed. ATTIRE: Dance clothes and clean, dedicated to studio use only, sneakers. Shoes worn in from off the street will NOT BE PERMITTED. MUST BRING a clean change of hip-hop sneakers and switch into them after entering the studio. SCHEDULE: This 10-week session runs from the week of April 7 through June 14.
